Girsan 92FS

I am going to ask again, with the supplied mags, manufactured in Italy by Mec-gar, no issues, they work perfectly.
Bought some spare mags, manufactured in Italy by Beretta, only issue is that they don't drop free with slide forward and empty. Any thoughts how to fix this?

Sell em and buy twice as many MecGar for the same price?

Have you compared the 2? Any differences?

I love the Beretta 92 platform, might pick up one of these... are parts interchangeable - grips, barrels, springs, slides, etc, (I have an older Beretta 92FS)?

Take the mags and squeeze them against a bench. You would be surprised what 0.002" can do to make them slide out easily.

Looked at one of these guns for quite a while, Ended up picking up a very inexpensive Taurus pt99 to fill the gap, Love it to death, Hate that it needs its own mags

was Taurus making a beretta 92 clone too?

how can it be compared to the Girsan?

Late to the show! Just saw the thread!
Taurus makes a couple of 92 clones and have had them for around 30 years or more(?). They are more a clone than the Girsan. The Girsan is almost an exact copy of the 92F.
The PT92 and 99 ( adjustable sights) differ in that they have a cocked and locked ability and have a frame vs. slide mounted safety a la 1911.
