I recently purchased a Glock 17 as I have always wanted to try drinking the Kool-Aid and so far I love it! I originally wanted a Gen3 but ended up getting a deal on a Gen2 I couldn't pass up. I was recently installing a new connector and trying out spring combos when I came across info pertaining to the famous "Glock Recall" for Gen2s made before a certain date. Looking at my serial number (FY*****) it shoes being a part of this recall.
Glock never admitted it was a recall per se but issues a service bulletin in which 5 parts were replaced at no cost. It had to be done by a Glock Armorer as they were the only ones who could order the parts and who Glock felt qualified to install them.

My question... Is there anything that can be done in Canada for this? Will Glock Armorers offer this service or am I on my own to source the parts (if so, where)?
Is it even worth doing? The gun functions fine but if Glock doesn't feel to is safe or reliable enough to put their famous name behind, should I get the upgrade?
Thanks in advance!
