In the process of streamlining my collection, I only 1 want handgun. The Glock seems like a no-brainer due to simplicity and reliability. But Smith and Wesson being around for much longer makes it a desirable product as well. I have no plans to get into competitive shooting or do any sort of modifications and owning both is not an option as I only want ONE. The M&P does fit my hand nicer but, the current dealbreaker is that extra step for taking it down. I don't ever want to deal with gunsmith wait times, I just sold 2 handguns with minor issues for that reason alone. So does the Glock make more sense for me?
