I Agree that you can't go too far wrong with any of them... And, like it's been said, it comes down to ergonomics and personal preference.
I'm partial to the XD or XDM as they a super reliable and Springfield's customer service is second to none if you ever do have a problem or need sevice.
I also like the fact that it can be field striped in less than 15 seconds and takes only about twice that long to put back together.
My wife has an XD9 with over 3000 rounds through it without a single mis-feed. That includes various handloads, including a lot of lead semi-wad-cutters as well as a few boxes of Telsa steel case stuff. Even when loaded a little on the light side for her, it still eats up whatever she feeds it.
Thier slogan is "where you point is where you shoot", and that pretty much sums up the accuracy as well.
