Is it just me or are Glock 17 gen 4 hard to find in stock with retailers? Very few retailer ever have them in stock and most on the EE are asking new prices for used ones. The search continues.

Seems on EE. Any decent deal is gone almost immediately. Every time I've listed anything it's usually sold within 24 hours. Retailers just don't seem to have them in stock either.

Aren't they close to $1,000 from retail stores? That seem way too high even for Glock.

Many like me even if they are safequeens ( G17 G17L ) just keep them ( or asking high prices), they are such an easy pistol to sell, your are never stuck with a Glock... JP.

Seem to be about 870$-999$ most places. Iffff they have them in

^ This. I bought mine when a Glock rep came to the range. The range would charge a very reasonable amount to try the 'new' gen 4. I saw a line up and stood in line. When I got to the front of that line, I rapped off 10 rounds, asked the guy a couple of questions, shook a hand and $700 lighter in the wallet I owned my first Glock. I thought at the time the price was a little high, but I'm certain I could sell it today for what I paid for it (not that I would.). The prices of everything has gone full moron lately, guns included.

Just bought one for 799$ from a local gun store. 900 after tax

im never paying $700+ for a glock. my last one was $600. chunks of polymer are not worth that much. ever.
