saw a guy with a brand spanking new gen 4 glock 17 with 115 grain factory white box 9mm... he was stovepiping at least once per mag... I took the gun from him and i shot 3 mags consecutively with no failures... then i purposely limp wristed and the problem reoccured... he told me he used to shoot a revolver exclusively prior... that was the problem... weak and chceap 115 grain ammo combined with a limp wrist, nothing but problems with the gen4... i lost faith in glock... well kinda... i ran a gen 3 glock 17, 34, 22, 23 and 19 with absolutely no issues whatsoever... i want to get back into 9mm.. i shoot 45 exclusively... im staying away from the gen4 for now... maybe ill get a gen 3 17 to be on the safe side....
