Great news for 19 owners here, and Canadian gun owners in general. We have a market here, hopefully more manufacturers come out with Canadian edition firearms. Slathered in maple syrup.

Probably because they can get Gen4's to market with just a simple barrel change. Something to distract the Canadian market while they catch up with Gen 5 demands south of the border.

Gen 5 is still in beta testing. Once they shave the bullnose frame and add some high speed, low drag front serrations then and only then will it be ready for the Canadian market.

Well, if the article is correct, it'll retail for the same price as a Gen 4 G17. I like the sound of that.

I totally agree with training and background checks to get a PAL, but barrel length? At 106mm for a barrel, you're good to go.... at 105mm you're a criminal? Honestly, some of our gun laws are sheer stupidity.
