Glock 21 Gen 4....its a monster!

Where can I buy the barrel or the whole exchange kit? Will I also need to buy g20 mags?

Questar is the Canadian distributor for Storm Lake barrels. I have no experience doing this but had looked at it when I was thinking about a Glock 21 but ended up with a M&P 45 instead, I might give the Glock a try at a later time.
Maybe someone will have done this conversion and can help out with some more details on what is needed to complete the conversion.

Your G21 is not fat, though. You want to feel dense metal on a Glock, try a G20 10mm.

They're both 32.5mm wide according to Glock's website, but the 45 only weighs 830g compared to 870g for the mighty dime.

dense metal ? the g20 is the exact same physical size, the weight difference is the fat the the overall diameter of the barrel is the same but the inside diameters are different, .451 vs .40.... so the barrel walls on the g20 are thicker.

i think your going to see glock produce a g21S..... since the 41 broke new ground using 9mm slide dimensions with thin wall barrel, and the g30s available it would only make sense.

Most of the weight difference is in the slide, I did a comparison of my gen 3 20 and 21 many moons ago.

The G21 and G20 are identical other than the barrel and the slide on the 21 has been milled out slightly to lighten it up to compensate for the lighter recoil of the 45auto compared to the 10mm.

Since it's been asked a couple times and not answered. No, you can not use G21 mags to hold the 10mm cartridge. The feed lips are too wide.
I have both and have tried.

If you don't handload don't waste your money on a 10mm, the factory loads are weak like a 40s&w and are harder to find and more expensive.
The 10mm is an awesome cartridge but not when using factory loads.
