I have posted before regarding my new Glock 22 RTF Gen4. Well I bought two Lone Wolf 40-9mm conversion bbls and a Lone wolf 40 S&W bbl as well for the Glock 22 (which I have not tried). I finally got to the range and tried the 9mm bbl in the Glock. It has issues. The new Glock 9mm magazine is really hard to load, the spring is crazy hard, will try the loading tool that came with the gun. The brass basically lands on my head or all around me. My 1911s throw the brass 10 feet away so this isn't right. I guess I need a softer return spring in the gun. I used new ammo and reloads FMJ. Both worked great. I shot around 100 rounds this range visit through the Glock in 9mm. I still couldn't hit the broad side of a barn but I wasn't much better with a revolver so I am out of practice, and never was that good. Long story short I think the Glock is OK, I don't love it by a long shot but it is Ok. It doesn't give me wood! I bought the Glock 22 RTF Gen4 as it was cheap, I really wanted a Glock 17 and that is what I should have bought. I just got the latest book on Glock by Patrick Sweeney, I have read a few pages and am looking forward to reading it.
