I once bought a brand new Glock 48 with Ameriglo sights from a certain retailer.
It came in with crooked sights. Front wasn't centered and rear was off to the right.
I messaged the retailer and got told to piss off because, and I quote here: "The biggest thing to keep in mind is that Glocks are designed as combat pistols" and "They are very accurate and reliable but having a sight slightly off won't affect your groupings to anything noticeable.".
I then proceeded to message Glock US asking them how normal it is and included a picture of the retailer's reply.
3 hours later, James Cassells, from Glock Canada, emailed me back as Glock US transferred him my email and it had to be dealt with immediately.
He asked me how the gun shot, if I wanted to completely return it to the retailer or have them simply adjust the sights. I pointed that I shouldn't be paying for shipping, as the retailer intended. Also asked for my infos to send me quite a bit of Glock swag.
A week later, I was contacted by the retailer for a complete exchange, RMA included, and given a free mag on top.
New pistol came in, made in Austria instead of USA (personal preference here) and with straight sights.
James, if you are reading this, thank you.
