Glock Carbine Adapter using an AR-15 stock

I'm not a big Glock fan ...but Luger's with snail clip's and shoulder stocks are highly sought after, right? P-35 Browning's with shoulder stock's; Mauser broomhandle's with shoulder stock's both have more collector value( I think...).
It extend's the capabilities of the handgun, more control=more accuracy.
I think it's a neat option, but each to their own...

It's a shame you don't hold more credibility, because I almost took your word for it.

Fortunately, you only hold the power of one opinion. ;)

Dude BR has seen more action in one week then you will see in a life time.
He has a better understanding of what works and what does not.
If you like it because its cool , then buy it for that reason.
bbb

Well, if that's the case then I sincerely apologize for my assumptions. :(

Let me ask kindly.

Why is a stock on a Glock not a good idea as an inexpensive substitution for a sub-machine gun?

I was just about to say the same thing about you.. unfortunately I doubt there will be someone to convince me otherwise.

Back on topic...

I was just wondering, what could you do to a glock to make it sh*ttier.... Question answered.

But my I think my daughter would like it... so I guess there's a market out there for youth shooters. It's cute and light and they're already used to the texture of plastic toys. I wonder if Nerf makes a grip kit to go with it?

The only thing more fun than not shooting a glock is hacking on them. You glock owners are a really defensive bunch. ;)

Seriously though.. I 2nd the motion for "f**kin Retarded..." You could use the argument that if you had a G18C and a 50rnd mag, it'd make it more reasonable... not. Get a SMG if you want a SMG.

I have to get back to work, I've got an old starter pistol I need to finish fitting into my new Troy chassis.

I apologized for my comments already. It was an impulsive act.

I just don't see how a High capacity glock with a stock is much different than a Sub-machine gun. Also, in no way did I say that this platform could be classified as such. I called it a substitute.

What even classifies an SMG?

Your right about a couple things. They are cute and they are light, but we have to admit for what it is, it is a great gun. Jack of all trades if you ask me.

Hey "kyle87t", why do you start responding under the username "lazedout"

For $1100 you can get a Beretta Storm carbine. Which in Canada you can have converted to non-restricted.

Easy choice.

Easy choice for you cause you don't own any glocks, but plenty of us have several, plus lots of AR parts laying around, which would make the total cost $155 rather than $1100.

I would consider getting a beretta storm if it didn't have to be "canadianized" with that stupid looking long barrel to make it non restricted

A stock on a Glock does not a submachine gun make.

He just said that, stupid.

I don't give a #### about any wannabe submachine gun crap. It's a neat little toy for my Glock and no one should bull#### about needing it or not. That's exactly what the antis say about our guns, that we don't "need" them.

First thing I thought as well. Ridiculous.

Have any of you guys any used this, or any of the other stocks on the market?

I have the Fab defense one, and fully collapsed it would take out your eye. But then if you adjust it, its almost too long for my arms at its furthest adjustment, and your face is over a foot away from the slide.

I usually pick a setting at the midpoint, which by the looks of it you could do with the adapter in the topic at hand if you just adjusted the stock to be further out. no?

How's the sight alignment with your face so close to the gun?

I shoot at the midpoint, It's not bad. Only a bit closer than I have it when I'm shooting without the stock. I have had it further away but the stock gets very twisty at that point, because my cheek keeps pushing against that upper trapezoildal shaped section (see pic). I doubt the fully collapsed position (pictured) is even meant for shooting, its probably just for transport.

That's why you get a bull barrel. It looks pretty good. Plus you get the accuracy/heat benefits. Still extremely handy, very accurate and a great firearm. Plus 10 round 9mm mags. On a side note it also breaks down in two pieces with the removal of one pin. A great product so far.

There are better products out there for the Glock. Too bad Magpul didn't go through on the transforming shell. I liked that one.

Does the stock twist 90 degrees to the side so that you can do sideways shooting' the way you can with the regular Glock? And does the stock fold up for a smaller profile when carried in a track suit (separate of the Glock)?

:D

a SMG is a full auto in a handgun caliber. Take the standard m16 in 5.56 a machine gun, put a 9mm upper on it and it is now a sub machine gun.

close...

a standard m16 in 5.56 is a rifle, or assault rifle,

a 9mm upper on a full auto AR would be a smg

this is a machine gun. (M60)

Reminds me of the gimmick Colonel Mortimer had in Clint Eastwood's For a Few Dollars More

thought the same thing... love those ol spaghetti westerns

this stock is rather useless for the glock. especially for us, it doesnt change the classification .unless you through a 16inch barrel on it..... then it would look just weird.

however something like the cx4 non restricted, that takes glock mags would be quite something. and if it was a *legal* bullpup that took glock mags , sortra like MSARs new MCS that wont be able to come to canada due to the "AUG" look. would be better. ( but not looking like an aug or have aug parts)
