Glock Crew...

Tru-Glo TFO's are excellent sights. I've got 'em on all of my Glocks. Very bright in the daylight and they also glow in the dark.:D

I have been wondering about "doing something" with the grips on my third gen G17 since I have issues with bending the tip of my "bird finger" on my gun hand (which means some finagling with my shooting grip)...what do you have on your grips? And, is there anything else on the market besides something like an old inner tube I can put on them to increase the width a bit and allow me to hold it a bit more comfortably?

I've got AGrip on both of my 10mm Glocks. I really like the feel. If you want a larger grip then you could get a Hogue three finger grip for your G17 or buy yourself a G20/21/29/30 (ie Large frame) etc.

Thanks for the info gents...I have tried handling the larger framed Glocks and unfortunately found the front to back distance of the grip even more unsuitable for my messed up finger! And sorry about the pic heavy double post...I tried to edit out some of the pics, but didn't realize that's not quite what happened!

I was a bit torn between the 17 and 22 but finally went with the .40 as this is my home defense with range trips second. I went with Ballistics over price, and if I get into IPSC, which I'm hoping to try and get to a couple this season, I wanted something that would grow with me in competition.

I may still grab a 17 for the range if I can get in before the price increases...

IF you intend to use your Glock for HD then many range trips and professional training should be your top priority. ballistic "performance" is discussed by those who have neither mastered the art of marksmanship or feel that performance will compensate for poor marksmanship. Only hits count and poor marksmanship equals missing. A miss is a miss regardless of calibre.

I feel I'm in a position to accurately claim that I've had access to some of the best training in Canada ;)

But I appreciate the insight.
