Anyone know where to get the "decal grip" for a Glock 22 in Canada? I'd like to support a Canadian dealer before I try and order from the US.:D

a sticker/ peice of tape, is actually considered a gun part. .are you kidding me,
im looking for some of this stuff too.

Here is the method to make your own grips.....

- go to skate shop as already mentioned. 10.00 will get you about a foot of abrasive tape. enough to do 15-20 glocks depending on your usage and placement.
- get your glock and disassemble.
- using the frame, a piece of paper and a pencil (not the mechanical ones), place the paper over the grip and create a relief of the "raised" portion of the grip by using the pencil on it's side.....just like you did with a coin and paper as a kid.
- repeat for the other side
- cut out the "area" you want to tape.
- if you are so inclined, make numerous photocopies of the right and left grip panel to keep for future reference or to make multiple grip panels for your friend(s).
- tape the panels on the paper side of the backed skateboard tape.
- heavy duty scissors work best - emt shears, cheap large scissors....try not to use wifey's high end sewing scissors as the abrasive will mess-up the blade and she will then mess you up.
- remove paper backing....stick to "dry" gun grip - degrase with acetone or rubbing alcohol.

I also cut out (free hand) small ovals to fit on the thumb shelves and rear of the tang.

when it is worn out, just peel the old stuff off.....re-clean and put the new stuff on again.

Glock Decal Grip - $7.00US - 1 left, 1 right (Glockmeister)

Skateboard tape - $2.00CAN - 6" x 24"

Do the math.

I stopped at a local skate shop and they just gave me a piece that was too small to cover a skateboard but big enough to do four or five guns.

Keep in mind folks, the decal grips come in the gritty sandpaper style as well as the rubber style. Skate tape is cheaper if you're after the gritty feel.

I think I paid about 6-8 bucks for a 9" X 33" sheet of grip tape from a skate shop. I only used a 2" strip with lots of waste on my G17. I could probably do another 15-20 glocks with what I have left. Took 15 minutes.
