What would happen if a guy wanted to get the new recoil spring and not send the old one back after?
That kind of thinking goes along the lines of... "What if I accepted this CGN members EMT, then say I sent the item, but don't?"
I'm not saying you think that way, but don't get confused, they are both similar ideas believe it or not.
This is costing Glock money, and they want these replaced assemblies gone.
At the end of the day if everyone kept their old ones it'd be a nightmare to figure out which ones were replaced and which weren't. In the long term,
NO MORE FREE SERVICES; alternatively we'll all have to send-in the springs first in order to get the replacements sent *which sucks!
What would happen to you if you kept the junk ones? Nothing.
We can all go that route, but IMHO it'd be best if everyone:
"Placed the old RSA in the supplied shipping container and give to the United States Postal Service (USPS)" or pay a little extra and use Canada Post.
Send it back and be happy with the awesome customer service. I love the fact that they are sending them out to Canadians too! Amazing actually.
I'm going to pick up a Gen.4 soon
