Glock lowers price in canada?

some places still want a grand for a 17, i think they will end up losing on them, but some people don t shop around or compare prices, they just pay?

I expect that some dealers are still stuck with inventory from a higher priced distributor who drove the prices up from what they were(not reflective on the $CAD exchange, but in addition to). Newer inventory should reflect the lower pricing unless the dealer is trying to maintain the pricing level of his present stock. Now the poor dealer is trying to clear out stock before they can take advantage of the new pricing levels...Just a theory

I regularly see guns sold out of Cabela's and they're by far the most expensive firearm retailer I've ever seen.

Definitely one of the most expensive retailers, but every now and then a good deal comes up. I managed to get a brand new Sako 85 for a couple hundred cheaper than the other shops in my area.

ill only get one when i find them for $600 or less. i aint payin more for a hunk of plastic

Considering that it is nothing more than:

- a piece of injection molded plastic for a frame,
- a steel stamping as a trigger bar and more injected molded plastic internal parts,
- a simple welded slide with very simple machining for an equally simple to make striker,
- and an injection molded plastic magazine,

the price is ludicrous.

Herr Glock must laugh his ass off to the bank every day.

But hey, that old children's story about the Emporer's new clothes is still so very true.
