Jo must have got a s***load of approvals yesterday, as he e-mailed me to say mine was "in the mail" and should be here today!! :dancingbanana:
Update:
G17 with 2 extra mags arrived at 4:05 p.m. yesterday (12th)!
Now I gotta make time to get 'er out to the range and barking.
Many thanks, again, to Jo @ P.O. and to Mike_R23A for getting this thread started, and thus the news to us who craved some plastic hardware!

:dancingbanana: Woohoo!!!! Just got my GLock 22:dancingbanana: I went to pick it up this morning. THanks again to Jo and the rest of the Police Ordnance team. First class service all the way :D can't wait to tomorrow to go try it out

I know I'm dragging up a semi-old thread but I didn't want to start another one.

Has anyone ordered a G17 from Police Ordnance within the last little while? I'm wondering if the recent (2008) price drop has affected their LEO/Mil discount.

It was down to around $570ish when I checked in early January. That's with two mags and Trijicon night sights.

The commercial price went down after I checked so it's possible it may be lower now.

Ah the necropost!!
Yea I talked to Jo in the new year and the price on a G34 dropped about $100 bucks. I'll be placing my order for a G34 in a week or so.

police, miltary, fire, ems. But what about BUS DRIVERS, I guarantee my profession gets assaulted more than fire + ems combined.

I read on Glock Talk that Glock's reasoning about this is that Fire and EMS fall under the Homeland Security umbrella so that is why they get the discount along with Police and Military. I think this discounting has worked its way down since there are alot of Glocks available and the prices on them have dropped for both new and used over the last 5 years. I know someone who actually paid $1200 for a Glock 35 back then. All Glocks are alot cheaper these days.
