Yes I’ve decided to get a Glock , this after handling a 48 .
I like smaller grip guns , they fit my hands . I picked it up and it was the perfect fit in my hand . Then I looked at it .... !
Anything as ugly as that is going to be sent for some slide work for sure as well as upgrading the barrel and trigger kits . I’ll want to make this my favourite rig and first kind of customized gun just for me .

So , if you all don’t mind , could you let me know any aftermarket suppliers and custom shops that you’ve had good service from ? My favourite LGS ( and site sponsor ) will be where I am planning on buying the gun ( unless I can find an already customized g48 used that I like ) , but any good info on anything you glock folks think will help is appreciated .

Thanks all , your help is very appreciated .

Just a suggestion SS MR920. This will be my route for a "G" not interested in the OEM.

Its hardly ugly hahaha, I actually like the 2 tone! The trigger is nice, the reset is excellent on the gen 5 pistols. Enjoy it! Very snappy little gun that shoots well in its factory state. I'm sure it can only get better with modifications!

Black Box Customs were awesome when I decided to build my open glock a month or so back.

Pretty much had everything I needed parts wise in stock.

If you can go to their shop. They guys there are knowledgeable and friendly and can give you some good suggestions depending on the purpose of your build.

Different strokes eh ?
I think the black g48 is ugly , but the two tone is .....unforgivably ugly ....lol .
Given the cosmetic mods I’m thinking of it will become gorgeous ( to me anyways ) .

I would love to see their shop . Might have to do a road trip !

I changed the trigger bar in my M48. Did not make much difference. Stock trigger is pretty good.

I did add a set of Williams fibre optic sights. That made a huge improvement.

I’m thinking of a red dot sight for it . Never used one on a pistol before and I’m kind of looking at going that way .

Actually got my Glock 48 in the mail today!

But leave it alone, it looks just fine! Its a gun it's not meant to look pretty (not even gun is as ###y as a Beretta 92) but glocks looks plenty good! Same money for ammo
