Glocks are ugly?

My wife got her RPAL early this year and since she wasn't comfortable with guns yet I purchased a Browning 1911A1 .22 for her. After putting about a 1000 rounds through it she announced that she wanted something with a bit more "Authority". She also said how about a Glock? I took her in to the local shop. she held a G17 and said I'll take it. She tried my Shadow a few times but didn't like the weight. The polymer frame suited her best.

If they didn't work so damn well I'm willing to bet that they wouldn't sell many. They aren't exactly an aesthetically pleasing design.

Glocks work just as well as any other big name handgun out there but I'm not going to say they are better. Glock though has a lot of public relations though ;)

BTW yes I've owned Glocks... just don't tell anyone or I'll deny it :p

Saw those same vids... Glock's are good guns, don't think they are superior to any other. Sigs and HK's are way up there with reliability and are damned ###y too. I'm not opposed to buying a Glock, but I just haven't found one that I like.

I have two G17's. I hated them before but now I like them a lot. Honestly they are ugly but workmanship of the slide is exceptional compare with many other guns. These Glock is quite something else can turn a true hater into user.

I just cant bring myself to do it not when there are ###y ass guns like the 92fs and most 1911's

You can have both :) and play Die Hard 2 = 92 vs Glock 7 porcelain gun made in Germany

Pop off a few mags of 10 MM loaded HOT out of a Glock 20.

You are not gonna care what the gun looks like.

Also, with the big dog bang and muzzle flash, prepare for a crowd to come see what you are packing.
