Good budget 1911

Are those your picks because of price or features?
From your posts you seem fixed on new is used an option?
Are you fondling these guns at an LGS or will it be an online order?

You need to decide what you are looking for why is the fully loaded budget brand X cheaper than the base model budget brand Y there has to be some cost savings somewhere.

You can get a lightly used competition rig that someone is unloading cheap because someone else at the match has talked them into something else and suddenly what they own is no good and they must buy the Alfa Hitting 3000

Now this though might be dated but if you are looking into budget guns online unless you plan on swapping out parts or don't care; you might want to lay hands on the thing first as you might be underwhelmed with how poor the fit and finish actually is.
 
I’m looking to spend around $600-$700 on a new one I don’t want used. I’m not interested in having to do a lot of upgrades to it. However I will if I must.
I like both styles the only thing is the sights I’m not a huge fan of low profile sights.

I’m learning more towards the MC1911 but I don’t know how accurate they are or how they hold up as there are little to no reviews on them.
I like the SAM 1911 military enhanced because it also has all the features I like I just don’t wanna spend an extra $100 if they are both pretty much the same.
I’ve help a few high end 1911s and I know I won’t get the same quality. I just don’t want a Norinco that’s all I know.
 
The last norc I bought the chamber wasn't even cut deep enough to chamber a round, might want to hang onto the receipt if buying one from a store
 
Nothing wrong with a Norinco 45 at all . if you don't want to screw around changing so called parts then in my honest opinion find one of the Ruger 1911 pistols or a Springfield armories pistol . I myself would steer clear from the Sam pistols which if I'm not mistaken are made in the Philippines. I'm a gun fanatic and have done a lot of research and shot more than likely more firearms of many different types than you will shoot in your life time . you buy what what you want . I have given some of the new guys at work solid advice and then they do otherwise . the ones who don't listen . when they come crying to me I just walk away .
 
I've had great experiences with girsans but havent owned a 1911 by them. For the price range u mentioned I wouldnt hesitate.

Do keep in mind tho that through the miracle of economics (currency value, taxes, cost of production etc) a $700 Turkish gun is on par with a $1000 American made gun.
 
Overall I like my girsan, the mags suck, and the trigger has creep, easily upgraded. I hope. just put some hand loads through it, decent accuracy. I like the rail for those "tacticool" accessories.

whereabouts do you live? I'm in Chilliwack and are welcome to take my MC1911 for a spin.
 
I would take a Chinese 1911 over a Turkish every day of the week. I had a Girsan MC1911 and it was not very reliable, lots of trouble going into battery, brass kept getting hung up on the ejection port. I was drawn to it cause of all the fancy bells and whistles. Of the Nork 1911s I have had, all were reliable. The finishes were always #### but they ####in ran with no problems. The Turkish Berettas I'm down with but I'll pass on their 1911's. I had a Taurus PT1911 that was a great shooter as well. If I were you I would save up a few more dollar dollar bills yo and go for a US made option. Or, and I know you are not interested in used, but you should really consider it as you can pick up a good mid tier 1911 for less than a grand. I was able to scoop a Sig Nitron Rail on the EE for around $850 and it was in immaculate shape. You are really doing your self a dis service if you eliminate the secondary market options.

A gently used Ruger Sr1911 is better than a brand new Girsan MC1911 every day of the week.
 
I have a few 1911''s I want to sell, want to get away from all the restricted nonsense. I have mostly misc Colts/Springfields for shooters. A few others if you like military/historical stuff. PM if you want.
