For those of you who are not averse to shopping at Lebaron, they now stock 100 round packs of WWB (115gr only). Those go for around $16.50, which is $2.50 cheaper than if you were to buy two 50 round packs.

They also sell 100 round packs of .40S&W for $23.xx.

Would the LeBarons in Ottawa have the same deal?

Just bought some at the WalMart in the states 100 Value packs for $10USD

Good thing that was for sporting use at a competition in the USA for which you had received border clearance...whew, now I feel better :)

Hmmm.... $165 per thousand. Almost not worth reloading 9mm at that price!

If you want 1000 rounds, Wolf Bullets has good deals too.

9 mm 135 gr. Lead RN 50 / Box $ 138.40 $ 148.40

If you take their brass, it's 148.40. If you send them brass to reload, it's 138.40

$0.15 / shot; that's not bad.

But what if you don't like shooting lead?

Some indoor ranges disallow FMJ ammo.

Winter is coming very soon.

There is a place for Lead RN ammo.

It's all a matter of degree - I'm too much a novice to fell the difference between shooting jacketed ammo and just LRN ammo, so I'll take the lead for now. The jacketed stuff isn't much more in terms of $.

So what is better, Full metal jacket? Lead round nose? Which one out of all of them?

with FMJ you don't get the leading problem (less cleaning). I prefer completly jacated ammo (FMJ has an exposed base)...
