Good Luck Canadian Army Combat Shooting Team!

Gotta love it when you get a call mere hours before you leave for an international competition representing your country, and get told you can't take your weapons because the yanks don't feel like it.
Methinks someone didn't do their homework.Strike one and we're not even off the ground yet.
This had better not turn into a goatf**k.

We are using the au's M4s with our own c79's.
2nd day on the range. We zeroed out to 400 today. Only 1 rifle has had problems so far.
Zeroing the minme's and pistols trm.
Comp starts on the 10th.
So far this about 10 other country's that are here. They all think we are nuts more are running around in jackets, hats and gloves well we are in t shirts and shorts.
Once the computer lab opens photos will come

We used the same ones last year. Not bad able to hit what your aiming at, but at a hugh disadvantage. What till you see the scores ringing out of the South Pacific forces using Iron sites at that....

Cheers
have a good one

At least the muscle memory will be the same for them.....

Building completely new muscle memory and weapons operation would put 'em back to the basics almost!

Instead of thinking about marksmanship, they'd be busy thinking about how to load, ready, etc. Learning a new gun and new matches is a tough hill to climb!

We are on the final day for practices. Did pistol first and are now waiting to get on the mechanical range to practice the movers. LMG's are up after lunch. Looks like the comp will start with us on the 400M rifle range. Then on tuesday on the pistol range. Going to be hard to beat Thailand and the race pistols but will beat them in rifle.
Will try and upload some photos tmr the free wifi won't let us go on gunnutz so it is all from my phone and can't do photos from it

Been pretty good so far barring the lack of our own guns and the crap M855 we are shooting.Shooting the Mini-mi in a standing snap is interesting. Those who don't like the C7 A2 need to wake up to how accurate it is in the right hands.Comp starts tommorow.More updates to come.

I can't figure out who is not doing their homework. I have been to Australia a few times, never had an issue taking my C7.

All it takes is having the correct paperwork.

Must have been an officer planning this trip to Down under, oops did I say that out loud?

Like they say there, Run Fast and Shoot Straight!
