If you’re waiting on approval, why would you be calling at all? There’s people trying to initiate/complete transfers who can’t get through because impatient people feel they’re entitled to updates are plugging up the system.
Also, if you’ve purchased from a dealer and presumably they actually have it in stock, the only thing you have to do is wait patiently. That’s it.

There is no patience when c-21 is in third reading.

I waited three weeks before I started calling.

They have adjourned for the summer so nothing is going to happen until the fall. October at the earliest before this can get fully passed and receive royal ascent.

Also, FYI, got the transfer for one of my June 3rd purchases this morning. Still waiting on the second I bought June 3rd and the one from June 10. If the timeline holds it will be another week before all are done.

Never even got through to anyone. Says lines are busy, hangs up. I was on hold the other day for half an hour and gave up.
 
My order status says "awaiting transfer clearance". Doesn't that mean that I should be receiving a reference number from Prophet River that I have to use to call into the CFO's office to complete the transfer?
 
I’ve got 3 transfer in BC that are on week 3, 2 and another on day 5.
CFP agent Marsha told me BC had a 5-10 day turn around

Go to the Prophet River site.
Click on "My Account" and sign in.
Click the "View Order Details" button.
On the bottom left of the detail page there is a box that says "Order Comments"
Your reference number may be listed there along with the serial number of your firearm.
