Yes, got the transfer number from the dealer then called that extension. She approved the transfer while I was on the line. Got an email right away.
I emailed Prophet River and they sent me my reference number. I've yet to get in contact with anyone at the CFO though.

A few guys are asking us for reference numbers (no issue there) then asking us to call their CFO. This does no good; once we initiate the CFO will tell us nothing as far as an 'update' as there are privacy issues. They will not divulge the reason a transfer has not been completed as that is between them and the buyer.

Do you guys know how long the delay for the CFO processing is? Assuming there is an average.I still have an order "awaiting transfer clearance" since the 4th.
Varies immensely province to province. NS has been mostly 24 hours or less. AB and SK a week or two (used to be 24 hours but they are simply back logged) ON is really slow. Other provinces in between somewhere it seems. Very inconsistent too in many provinces; like they aren't doing them in order.

I'm still waiting for June 02 and later transfers.. in BC
BC is definitely not doing them in order. Some guys are having transfers go through June 8. Others still waiting on June 02. It seems multiple purchases slows down your applications. I spoke to someone at the BC CFO yesterday and my June 02 transfer hadn't been looked at. But again, I've made a few purchases which seems to draw extra scrutiny.

no, done time of purchase. if you bought online, it is automated- we don't see the card numbers etc.
Got my reference number from Prophet River, who have been awesome, called the 9530 extension, got into the hold que twice and got disconnected with "system problems" both times around the 33-35 minute mark of being on hold,, sooo frustrating.

I ordered a Sig from Prophet River on June 9th and I’m Ontario so I figure my paperwork will jump between AB and Ont CFO dance.
So no idea how long this will take?
Haven’t bought for many years, last purchased one was with Double Tap CZ and it went quickly.
Few years ago raffle win S&W sd9 papers were instant. Have yet to shoot it!
Just really sad that upcoming generations will have this sport denied to them!!

What do you expect? Business as normal? A full years of applications in a few weeks means a lot of their staff are working overtime and weekends to clear files. It is only expected they are running slower than normal.
