Good, Not Benelli Expensive, Semi Auto...

LOL the SPAS-12 should be called the SPAZZ. Needlessly complicated and the only shotgun I have seen jam again and again.(on semi)
the spas 12 is a shotgun that got needlessly popular because of banning by looks(and the pump/semi functionality). in reality its an old and clunky gun that was state of the art in the 70s. its the kind of gun people talk about when hearing discussions on shotguns to fluff their armchair commando egos. the spas 15 is banned for whatever reasons(probably the same iirc). I fired one in the states and thats all I can really say about it.

I am pretty sure the spas series guns from franchi are prohibited...which really sucks.
all spas shotguns are banned.

the franchi guns im talking about is the 712 defence.

they wont import this because they dont want to. #### that noise.

I really really like my Mossberg 930 -
It's not failed yet with nearly 1000 shells through it...

I've owned a Benelli M2, a Franchi I-12, a Remington 1100 and now my Mossberg 930. I like the function of the Mossberg 930 the most (it's truly amazing) - The Benelli get's the thumbs up for finish though (but for the price it had better look perfect).

Stoeger with the benelli action.

An amassing value, I think for around 5 or 6 hundred bucks. The Benelli action cant be beat, it only may malfunction with the cheaper, lowest power of shells.

Dont know about changing over to the pistol grip part of it though?

+1
used one for a day , got tired of jams n having to switch to pump all day

But hey it does LOOK badass.

Right now I have just been going on specs.. and I have some kind of a fetish over clip loaded shotguns :runaway:

Thanks for the info. Anything that doesn't fire consistently isn't worth my time.

Not Benelli

Beretta 1201 FP can be had for less than $500 Stateside and these are rock-solid performers. Not gas-operated so slightly more recoil but way reliable and great shooters. Pistol-grip stocks less than $US75.00

Great shotgun, I have two.

Cheers,

FM

i will also +1 the mossberg, as ive had one of those and they too are very good
they even make ones that looks exactly like that franchi, with picatinny rail, and ghost rings, and a breeching attachment

That mossberg does look good, only thing its missing is the pistol grip and choke tubes. You can get a stoeger with the pistol grip, no choke tubes.

Ahhh... I know I am going to have to make a sacrifice of some sort... be it some sort of functionality... time... or money. I just really hate having to make a sacrifice.

Thanks for the input guys

I'd like a FN SLP but no one seems to be wanting to bring them in...

FN Doesn't sell anything to Canada.. so I guess you'd have to get an importer to get them.

The FN tactical shotguns are all delayed or sold out.. the SLP Mark 1 is supposed to be available again in the next few months, and the SLP Tactical is supposed to be available early next year, as per my phonecall with FN.

I read that they are discontinued... :(

Anyone know who sells benelli M2's and M3's in Canada...?

Oh and just out of curiosity the supernova as well?

If so, an approximate price?

Wholesale sells the M2's (M3's are Prohib'd)
M2's are in the $1300~$1500 range.

Get a 930 (I got mine for $650 with 2 barrels) --- I had an M2, it's good... but did have some problems with light loads. The 930 eats everything. I also like how light the 930 is compared to say, the 1100.

You are losing the pistol grip, but you get super-reliable and super-cheap :)
