Which model...? I thought the good Franchi's were prohibited in this country..
I phoned stoeger canada(which is the franchi importer in canada) and they dont care about importing any of their other models.

I am pretty sure the spas series guns from franchi are prohibited...which really sucks.
the spas 12 is a shotgun that got needlessly popular because of banning by looks(and the pump/semi functionality). in reality its an old and clunky gun that was state of the art in the 70s. its the kind of gun people talk about when hearing discussions on shotguns to fluff their armchair commando egos. the spas 15 is banned for whatever reasons(probably the same iirc). I fired one in the states and thats all I can really say about it.LOL the SPAS-12 should be called the SPAZZ. Needlessly complicated and the only shotgun I have seen jam again and again.(on semi)

+1
used one for a day , got tired of jams n having to switch to pump all day
But hey it does LOOK badass.

Hey that actually looks rather appealing. Maybe after I buy a Benelli M4![]()
I really really like my Mossberg 930 -
It's not failed yet with nearly 1000 shells through it...
I've owned a Benelli M2, a Franchi I-12, a Remington 1100 and now my Mossberg 930. I like the function of the Mossberg 930 the most (it's truly amazing) - The Benelli get's the thumbs up for finish though (but for the price it had better look perfect).
i will also +1 the mossberg, as ive had one of those and they too are very good
they even make ones that looks exactly like that franchi, with picatinny rail, and ghost rings, and a breeching attachment
Stoeger with the benelli action.
An amassing value, I think for around 5 or 6 hundred bucks. The Benelli action cant be beat, it only may malfunction with the cheaper, lowest power of shells.
Dont know about changing over to the pistol grip part of it though?
I'd like a FN SLP but no one seems to be wanting to bring them in...

Beretta 1201 FP can be had for less than $500 Stateside and these are rock-solid performers. Not gas-operated so slightly more recoil but way reliable and great shooters. Pistol-grip stocks less than $US75.00
Great shotgun, I have two.
Cheers,
