Correct, but as he stated, lever is harder to push, and has to be pushed farther to open .Stating a fact. After shooting for a couple of hours you notice.
Anybody here familiar with the new Belgian/FN made Win. 101 sporting? Every review seems to be good and it is priced well bellow 686 gold (almost half price), so why aren't they selling better? Isn't FN the parent company to both Browning and Winchester?
I shot beside someone the other day who had ported barrels, it gets annoying very quickly.
The Winchester 101 is just a Citori Lightning that's made in Belgium instead of Japan. Only difference I find between the two is the release lever, the winchester has a long travel to it, but it has nicer wood then the Citori IMO.

I just find that they feel the same to me, I had them both on the counter sided by side, the only visual difference I found was that the wood was of better quality on the winchester. And to me they feel the same on the shoulder.
The Citori has considerably more drop in the comb.
both fit very well,
sorry to keep opening this thread back up but, I came across the Citori Satin Lighting on the Prophet River site and was wondering how this would hold up. Also how similar is it to the White Satin Hunter. It has 3 1/2" chambers so I know it is a field gun, but I cant find a whole lot of information on this gun.
