Good trap and skeet O/U?

Thats what I meant to say, its not tighter but it kind of feels that way due to how far the lever has to travel until it releases. It feels like it travels a mile and half farther then it should.
Anybody here familiar with the new Belgian/FN made Win. 101 sporting? Every review seems to be good and it is priced well bellow 686 gold (almost half price), so why aren't they selling better? Isn't FN the parent company to both Browning and Winchester?
The Winchester 101 is just a Citori Lightning that's made in Belgium instead of Japan. Only difference I find between the two is the release lever, the winchester has a long travel to it, but it has nicer wood then the Citori IMO.
If you are wearing quality ear protection I don't notice a difference. If you are not wearing ear protection then it is your own darn fault.
I've never felt a difference in the sound/blast while standing beside a ported or nonported gun. Though I'll admit if I closed my eyes I couldn't tell you whether buddy is shooting a 12ga or a 28ga. I use in-ear fitted plugs from Costco.
Have a closer look there not any where near the same.the winchester is built different.with a beretta style locking system it also has different stock diamenisions dac and dah are different.not to mension that the winchester is a much lighter gun.only thing they have in common is the both owned by FN Herstal.
I just find that they feel the same to me, I had them both on the counter sided by side, the only visual difference I found was that the wood was of better quality on the winchester. And to me they feel the same on the shoulder.
Mechanically they are going to be a little different. The locking system was the only major difference that I could see.
If anyone would like to help me find the differences out at the range in waterford I more than happily reconsider my view point on their differences.

so keeping all this in mind, which do you think would the better choice, both fit very well, both cost the same and both are fairly easy to find.
I am talking about which gun can better handle the abuse of trap or skeet every weekend.
Given the difference in drop at comb, I can't help but think that one must fit significantly better than the other. Pick up each gun,close your eyes,shoulder the gun ,then open your eyes. Then you will see which gun provides you with a better sight picture.
sorry to keep opening this thread back up but, I came across the Citori Satin Lighting on the Prophet River site and was wondering how this would hold up. Also how similar is it to the White Satin Hunter. It has 3 1/2" chambers so I know it is a field gun, but I cant find a whole lot of information on this gun.
I just acted on impulse and bought The Satin Lightning at Prophet River.

I suppose it will ship out on Tuesday and show up at my door the following week. cant beat $1479.00 for a new citori. After tax and shipping was about $1650, shipping was only $17.
It fits good, I fondled one at Eli's about a week ago and almost put down a deposit, but he wanted close to $500 more.

Get whatever fits you. Go to a gun shop and pull a few off the rack, mount the gun on your shoulder and go with whatever feels right.
It is not about brand names it's all about how the gun fits you. Most berettas and Franchis fit me very well without any adjustments but can't fit any browning.
Try as many guns as you can.
