Gopher guns and carnage

15 minutes carnage...the ones we wanted to recover...1940 Marlin 81 .22LR and 1947 Mossberg 151M(a) .22LR...did this all day ran out of film after 37 pictures

What's FILM? :p Just so weird tohear someone using anything other than a digital camera nowadays..But keep up the good work. I wish I had gophers to shoot at.

magpies ..yes ...but crows and ravens in some areas cannot be shot.

Tazzy....I did not have my digital along on the trip so I had bought 2 disposable cameras at 20 pics each. imagine having fun shooting gophers and being compensated for gas and shells. I do this several times during the summer at 10 days each time...never ran out of critters.

i am moving to the area where I shoot in July this year. no more 4 hour trips, it will then take about 1/2 hour.

i would like to go on a gopher/magpie hunt but don't know where. I live in Calgary, anyone have any ideas? would anyone mind if i joined them on a critter hunt? i only have my cz858 and an sks (no ammo though lol - yet).

I hope to inherit my grandfathers. Im very interested to see how it shoot LeverEvolution ammo. Should be an awesome Ontario brush gun.

That is exactly what my Dad bought it for.

I have yet to try the LeverEvolution rounds; and there is always the option of reloading your own spitzers. It is a good little rifle, I just don't really use it for much is all. I'd still never sell it though.

My uncle tried reloading pointed bullets for his, but found that they were too long for the magazine. I picked him up some LeverEvo bullets, but havent asked him how they fit.

I think I'll borrow my grandfathers to see if they do
