Point your car East, and go about 12 hours on Hwy 3. (Man, I never thought I'd hear myself say 'go East!') Once you get past that PST border, your in gopher heaven, the land of the free. I don't know where to find gophers in BC, but we have enough here to spare. Most farmers/landowners are all too happy to have you come in and clean them out. It's cheapier than poison. Heck, I've got arangments made for next Saturday to clean out a virgin field. They even offered to buy my ammo! Just don't shoot towards the livestock or buildings. And don't shoot near irrigation pipes or pivots. Even a .22 can penetrate. Then you've got issues. Be ready to shoot in the wind. And not BC wind, Chinook winds. Strap your hat down, and keep your mouth shut. The best shooting is always off the highways. Find an area that you like, and follow the gravel roads away from everyone else. One of the best places I hunt is about 30 kms off the main Hwy. But I know were not likely to see anyone out there. Good shooting.
