Good day CGN, found this great tactical store that carries a selection of fantastic gear and plates.
Just came from there warehouse , excellent quality, the sample plates that they had in that were fired upon are legit and I am waiting for there next order to alot mine. Love the SURPAT pattern, purchased a dump bag, membrane suit, 3 day cargo butt pack, waiting for the tac vest, the Tuaregs back pack is top notch going back for that when the plates arrive.(http://srvv.store/catalog/1910/76541/)
They have many ballistic packages at different levels of protection. The warehouse was very helpful and accommodating, scheduling a time for me to come in and shop. Can't say enough about the awesome CS that Arthur and Ilya provided me as well as bringing some really fantastic product at a more reasonable price to the GTA, ONT, area and beyond. TY, AI Tactical Solutions.
 
Starting to unpackage and look over the membrane suit and other accessories. This gear is awesome , the zippers on the membrane jacket tuck in so they don't make noise under movement. Molle attach for dump bag and day pack made from cordura, feels like a slight membrane coating on these as well, draw string closure on both accessories. Everything is labeled SRVV survival corps assuring the products legitimacy, I am so glad those months of Google searching led me to AI Tactical. If your looking for quality gear at great prices you would really be doing yourself an injustice if you didn't try here first.

Well.... hats off at being able to bring them in at that price.

I was a little obtuse there - I meant heavier as in fabric compared to the SSO Partizans. I wouldn't cry about that, something in between SSO Partizan and Gorka weight would be nice. Plus the pockets on the pants.

The suits they used in Red Dawn were a fantasy creation of the costume department, because getting a pile of Soviet gear was kind of problematic at the time it was filmed :p

The pattern in Red Dawn was a rough copy of the berezka pattern as used on the one piece KLMK suits. It was specially printed for the movie, and in the years after you could find one and two piece suits in it from US Cavalry, etc. There's plenty of prop and non prop suits out there still. They're branded - imaginatively - as "Russian Camouflage."

The closest real Russian equivalent is silver berezka.
 
OK then, instead of the pattern that you don't offer, how about a size 60 Paratrooper Smock in "Digital Flora"?

Sadly we only sell the paratrooper smocks with the pants, the price shown is for the top and bottom, as ANA only sells them as sets.

Yes they are a little heavier than the SSO partizans and a little under half the weight of a gorka. The fabric for these is 65% Polyesters and 35% Rayon so they feel very lightweight. We will be opening up orders this weekend on our website. We will let you guys know here and send an email out to all those who subscribed.

We aren't sure which camo caught your eye, but we would love to help. It depends what type of conditions you plan on trekking in. We can provide items that would fit any condition that you would find. But let us know and we can show you some stuff.

Cheers. That sounds good. A bit heavier than the Partizans would be good for the early fall / late spring.
