Got .22 ?

Hello,

I don't think it was so much hoarding as it was new shooters.

If the Internet represents even 50% of the shooting community (it doesn't; more like 1%-10% at a guess,) then looking around places like The Liberal Gun Club might give you some idea of the number of new shooters in the US.

I will concede that a few bare shelves due to new shooters for which the industry was not prepared probably sparked a small panic, but folks are just shooting more than ever.

Regards,

Josh

I have planned for this....

.22wmr as well! Good job.
I got a few bricks of blazers @ $19, now they're at $30.
I don't find much of a shortage, I find the prices have increased though. I should buy some more blazers, with the low dollar, prices will probably increase more.

Its something that is happening right now. I didnt "jump on the net and start a topic" to start a hoarding cycle. So dont be a ####

So here it goes again...... as gun owners , we create our own shortage of ammo . It happens over and over again . People jump on the net and start a topic about an ammo shortage , folks read it , and the panic and hoarding starts . The United States just went through it , and are just now recovering from the shortage ; but Canada avoided it as the U.S. shooters were hoarding and the Canadian shooters were not . We had lots of ammo , the U.S. had little.....if there is no hoarding , there will be no ammo shortage.....food for thought....

Figured I'd check since I was in town. Local Canadian Tire has a few various boxes of CCI stuff upwards of $50 for 325 rd box......not sure what's so special about that particular stuff.

Wal-mart had very little, but noticeably a single box of 555 rds of Winchester.

I didn't buy anything.

Remember when American Eagle 38gr HP ammo was $135 a case at Wholesale and the wheeler they have holds 7 cases. or maybe the customer appreciation days at P&D when they had the 17HMR ammo on for $109 for 500, those were they days to have had some extra cash. FS

Mt CT has at least a dozen different brands in bulk pack and actually have sales in 50 rounds for under 2$, the local gun store also has TONS but he is selling a brick of 500 of Thunderbolts for 50$.

And for our good old site sponsors the absence of stock is nothing new and i'm pretty sure it will never change
