Got $36000 to give me?

You are not buying a gun here. You are buying a priviledge to own one of X number in existance. As X gets smaller, the priviledge and price goes up. The same applies to cars, high end real estate, and so on. Sure, you can buy three Mustangs for the price of an M3 but if I have $100k burning a hole in my pocket, I am not buying a bunch of ponies.
 
I am surprised it is not more expensive. They do go for more than 60k in the states if you can even find a seller. Maybe somebody from the UAE will snatch this up soon. Buyer should consider exporting this if he wants to appropriate the full value.

SICK! I never noticed that in the episode, now when I see it again Ill tell everyone that its a $36,000 firearm!
 
Be a good investment if someone were to export it. Tell you what, you buy it with your cash and I'll arrange export and sale in the US and we split whatever profit is made. :D
 
Butt ugly if you ask me! If I had $36,000 to spend, I'd spend 2 grand on a savage custom and $34,000 to spend on reloading supplies and hot and cold running hotties to do the reloading for me!
 
Talk to Ardent. He knows how to spend money... with 36K... he'd have that monstrosity sorely beat. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder! :D

These rifles were distinguished as the worlds most accurate semi automatic rifle in the 80s. They were guaranteed to shoot 1/4 MOA or better.
The precision in which these rifles were built to was incredible.
They came in 2 calibers, Walther spent considerable time testing calibers in which to make these rifles and opted for the 300 Win Mag as being the most accurate caliber at that time in commercially produced ammo. The 308 versions were geared towards the North American LE and Military but were not know to shoot as well as the 300 versions.

I am not aware of any semi auto that has been produced that will rival these rifles for accuracy. I agree that the wood could have been slimmed down and blended better, but the ergonomics of the stock fit a guy like a glove.

The 1 I had was incredibly accurate and very simple to strip and clean. The trigger despite being 2 stage was as crisp as any Jewel.
God I miss it:(
