I'm a revolver person myself, but if you insist on that criteria, a full sized Glock would probably serve you best.

Interesting... The only thing I like about revolvers is that they don't toss your brass around. Otherwise, I find them a bit clumsy. I must admit, my experience with revolvers is somewhat limited so in the right environment and qualified mentor, I could be swayed...
50m isn't going to happen (satisfactorily at least) with any normal service pistol in any calibre - you might shoot 15 inches, and if you do it with a DA first shot, you're a h*ll of a shooter

Why not? Most well-constructed pistols might group 3 inches at 50 yards off a rest. The remainder is practice.
