Another alternative to the 'gun store' walnut media is the pet store ground walnut shell "Lizard Bedding". It has been working well and is cheaper than the gun store version.[/QUOTEV
I used this...I got a 10lb bag at petsmart for $11 it works awesome

There was some TARNISH on the brass which was not removed but I didn't expect it to be removed. It cleans the cases, it doesn't remove tarnish.
So how much brasso do I add per what?
Have a Midway 1292 if it matters
Thanks
Clint

50lb bag for $18 froma local paint store that brings it in. I get it at cost but even $25/50lbs is half what pet store lizard litter will cost.
Where about in princess auto is the walnut?
How much does a 25lb bag cost? FS
It's in the shop section with the sandblasting equipment, air comps, etc.
$30 for 50lbs.

IdcDid you get the Cabela's model 400 tumbler with the sifter for $69.99?
I got that one on boxing day and I tumbled some 270 brass. It came out exceptionally clean inside an hour. I was very happy with it.
