Got myself Remington 700 SPS Varmint.......And have problems ( Pics added)

YES...I also noticed that spent cartridges has scratches on them, not deep but can feel it with my nail....

what a lemon....

I guess Le Baron wont take it back since bill of sale says: ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Just some 400 grit sandpaper wrapped around a nail file and that will be stopped in no time.

Tell your gunsmith buddy and he should be able to remedy that for you.
 
Nice, buy a new gun and have to take it to a gun smith. Notes taken! I would like to upgrade my gun as well, not because I need to but because I want to....all I can say is wow. You need to call the complaints dept.

1. Check the front hex stock screw and see if there rubbing on your bolt. I had this problem with the front one and had to file it down.

2. Get an aftermarket single stack system cuz the stock factory one's stink!

3. Again get a timmy or another top notch aftermarket one cuz the X-Pro trigger's will never match up to an accu-point trigger in my mind anyways.

4. As for barrels go I love kreggier but if you do fluke out and get a good stock barrel why spend the extra $$$ just wait tell you shoot this one out. Again until you remidy 1, 2 & 3 you can not for sure say that the barrel is no good unless you bore scope the barrel.

That's like saying you should have bought a BMW instead of a KIA.

All factory guns can have issues. I don't think any manufacturer holds clear title of being problem free.

I'd still bring it back... and let them deal with the warranty work.

If they are not interested in taking it back/exchange it, just take them to small claim court. The [All Sale Final] stamp means sweet f#ck all in court.

Iam not spending any pennny on this remington crap...They wont ever see my Money....

SAVAGE is the best.
 
Sure looks like that one should going back to Remington for warranty replacement.
Firing pin hole is OS with a chamfer {shouldn't be there}.
Bolt handle most likely out of time {indicated by missing chunks on cam area}.
Minor issues are the brass shaving caused by sharp mag box edges as well as sharp mating area on action {easy fix with a bit of stoning}.
I would imagine there are a few other areas that need attention that are not readily visable. Overall one of the worst POS from Remington that I have seen as of late {don't get me wrong I do love Remington rifles}, Back to LeBaron for replacement regardless of policy or at least off to Remingtons Canadian warranty depot.
Just my 2 cents worth!

Hind site is always 20/20.

Don't forget about the thread about a month ago where the guy had a savage that was having serious problems too.

Mind you in the end Savage bought him a new and better rifle. Lets see what Remmy does for this fellow.
 
I will keep you all posted. My buddy gunsmith is comming over today to take a look.

Also I called LeBaron...they said to bring it in so they can see whats wrong. They were surprised and first guess was something is wrong with extractor.

I'm not much of a gun smith but I think you're letting your disappointment get the better of you here. If it loads, locks, and goes bang when you pull the trigger, you're situation is not catastrophic in nature. I'm confident that the rifle's warranty will rectify any performance issues.

Word to the wise, never tell a factory rep that you shoot handloads (if you end up ever doing so) through your rifle. I'm sure that'll void your warranty.
