Dammit Youtube you led me astray once again...
A couple hours ago I posted that I was changing out my springs in my Gp100...
Watched a couple vids on Youtube to figure out how this was done...
I got mostly through without a hickup, until it came to putting the trigger assembly back into the gun.
I wasn't being sure that the transfer bar wasn't binding... and I tried really pushing on it thinking it was just sticking...
Once I figured out it was the transfer bar, I quickly got it back together...
That's when the problem started.
When I get the trigger group installed in the frame, I can cycle the chamber with absolutely no problems. However, once I install the hammer, I can only cycle the chamber one time before the cylinder latch won't disengage. If I rotate the cylinder towards the right (side marked GP100) the cylinder latch drops slightly and then pops back up and the trigger plunger resets when I take the pressure off of the cylinder catch.
I am stumped as to why everything works until the hammer is installed. Also sometimes pushing the trigger forward just a tiny hair disengages the plunger too...
Could this be reassembly issue? Is is possible I bent something?
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
