grand power

there were quite a few threads on them in the past, but they don't seem to be that popular. If you do a search, you'll probably find what you looking for. fyi "K100" -the designer of the gun is also a member here...

Grand Power is one of those guns that everyone talks about but very few actually own. Not really sure why – I guess because you can get a polymer gun from a well-know manufacturer like Glock, S&W and Springfield for the same money or less.

Great gun but lacks the marketing and parts/technical support needed to be more than a novelty thus far, hopefully it will take off in the U.S. market next year.

I have a K100 Mk6, and I'm very happy with it. The trigger pull is nice, looks much better than a Glock, :p , shoots better than I do, and was a great deal when I bought it, I don't know what the price of it is now, and who carries them... Shooting the K100 and the CZ-75 SP01, I do much better with the K100. It's also very comfortable in my hands, which are mid sized I'd say, mid to large... I was kind of unsure wether to buy it or not, without seeing it in person and holding it, but I took a chance, and I'm glad I did. If you're near Saskatoon, we could probably meet up at the range.

to bad i live in van, i would love to try it out. yeah i am a glock man myself but always willing to try something new. think i just might get the g17.

It's one of those pistols you'd love to own becasue few people build a rotating lock up any more...but there's always someting else to buy first....I'd like one myself...should have kept my Styer Hahn .....

Grand Power

I bought one last year from Marstar and like it very much. Shortly after the news came out that Marstar would no longer sell them, I had an issue with the trigger pivot pin slowly working loose from the plastic frame after 200-300 rounds. I contacted the owner of the company (K100) and he shipped me a new pin and trigger assembly from Slovakia. Since then, no problems and I have put at least another 1500 rounds through the gun. Also, all six magazines that I bought with it have worked perfectly. Several people at the club have tried it and two bought their own. No one said they hated it.

I have one, just got it.I like it just fine, fits a large hand quite nicely.
I wanted a couple extra mags and TSE had them in stock. Thanks
guys.Works well and is as accurate as I can shoot.

TSE does have a few. There are two range guns, one with a fibre optic front sight. Both are pretty good handguns from what I have seen. We see a lot of people using the K100s and liking them. We also have a lot of people buying and loving them. I never thought that a Slovakian product would be quite as good as these are...

The slide stop seems to drop when you load a magazine though, kinda wierd, I have never seen a gun do that before.

I'm pretty sure that's a feature, not a problem. And if I remember right, when other people brought up the "issue" they were told it's normal, and a lot of other guns do that too... My K100 Mk.6 does it, and it hasn't been a problem yet.

On that note, has K100 (Yaro?) been active lately? I sent him a PM, a couple weeks ago, but got no answer, I have a question about my K100.

Yes, it is designed to close and feed a new round when a full mag is loaded. This is a great advantage over the 1911 type of guns, IMO.

Very happy with my GP100 target. As has been mentioned elsewhere, the safety disengages too easily. Not a big issue for me, but is something that shouldn't be hard to improve or retrofix.

Yaro and TSE won't let you down if there is a problem. I ordered a fiber optic front sight for my older K100 but the company only had FO sights for the new models. They responded by making FO sights to retro-fit the older style.
