Grand Power?

Today Mike from Marstar brought a K100 out to our match so we could look her over and test fire it...

Range report:

K100 is very pointable naturally and the three dot sights are easy to aquire. Grip is small and all controls are easy to manipulate. The double action first is long but the SA trigger is very clean and crisp with very little reset. The pistol is very accurate and controlable during rapid firing. The mags drop free and insert easily

First impressions... I like this pistol very much, this is a good pistol for the Production Division of IPSC, tactical duty pistol or generally a fun plinker.

Thanks Mike for letting us testing your wares... I just may have to think seriously about switching pistols and giving the K100 a good try.

So Pop!! Will you be buying one to add to your collection of pistols? I feel that you are a good authority on this type of thing knowing a little of your history with guns and IPSC!!

I am pretty sure Omen will do great with this pistol...anyone who has seen him in action with his NP22 knows he can shoot. I would be very interested in hearing his report on it.

Is it just me or does anyone else besides me,have a problem with the transition between single action and double action triggerpull?I would be curious on how that goes. The transition is why I ended up with a Glock and 1911 for my IPSC pistols.

I have no problem with it...I started with a Sig Saur P226.
I thought you were a Glock guy?I did my Black Badge course with my Sig P226 and I was horrible!!Of course the IPSC course challenges you,but it felt like I had a weight attached to my ass!!

In all honesty, in competition, I don't notice the difference between my DA and SA shots. I've shot with CZs, Sigs, and Norincos. It takes practice, and it helps that with lots of shots, your trigger will smooth out a bit ;-)

I may have had a "FRIDAY" gun!! They sometimes overlook stuff that day of the week!! I wont discount Sigs yet.I would like to try the DAK trigger set up.I figure as mentioned above,if there is a .40S&W version,my fate will be sealed!!Is the Manufacturer still around?Maybe he can answer that question for us?

Ok, let me explain - there definitely IS a difference between DA and SA, what I was suggesting was that with practice, that won't be a huge issue... I heard of people having a huge problem with a DA shot, to the point where they would take 3 shots at the first target, just wasting the first DA shot... I don't understand that...

Don't be afraid to put the pics right in here too:

I love the crossdraw vest and also the leg holster... lets get tactical!

Hi all, base on the posts above I have decided got a K100 few days ago. Now, I came up a new idea that no one menthioned before. What about Mr.K100 make a .22 conversion kit for the gun. Would be cheap on ammo and can fire in my farm without scary neighbers. Any thought will be appreciated.

You can only shoot restricted firearms on CFO approved ranges..........

haha, that's Polish! ;)

So that answers a question I had, it is "Jaro"(slaw), not Yaro; I guess we're using Yaro for Anglophone pronunciation purposes...
