I was down at "Wade's guns" in Seattle today renting guns. For 12 bucks you can shoot all the handgun's in the store. They have tons. Trying to keep it simple we shot 9mm and 45 acp.
Tried the following;
-glock 26
-XD Sub Compact
-Ruger p-95
-Kimber custom 1911
-Walther p-99
-SIG 229
-SIG 226 with Crimson Trace laser grips!
Both their HK's and Berretta's were broken and away for repairs, go figure. They had every glock imaginable. My fav out of the ones we shot was the SIG 229. It had a really nice feel. The glock 26 was suprisingly very accurate, I was very impressed. The most accurate gun was the Kimber by far. I put 7 shots thru one big hole, that was fun. I had a great time, I really wished their HK's would have been available. My buddy and I agreed that the glock 17 is by far the best all around gun. You can pick it up and shoot it quite well with very little familarization. I didn't like the SIG trigger at all. Other than that the SIG226 was very sweet. I could've bee there all day I think.
good times!
