Great instructional videos for the long range shooter!

I see a lot of people, here in Southern Ontario who shy away from longer shots. Stick to hunting, AR's and pistols.

1 because our longest range is 300 yards, 2 because a lot of people think you need to be some sort of "sniper" to make good shots.

I also know I originally came on this form seeking information like this to help me with my journey. Figured I would post it up for any one to be able to come back too...

Mind you as long as the videos stay up.

Great videos, what are your guy's thoughts on me merging this with the current instructional video sticky?

I think they would go together very well.

I like this guy's straight forward, humble approach. Not once does he pt anyone down or say his way is the only way. Plus he was a US Army sniper instructor wasn't he?

Awe, making me blush merging this into the sticky... Do I get a shout out for helping out ;) lol

Yah former team leader.

As someone who is just getting into long range shooting, this post has made me glad I found CGN. Thanks folks!

Love Ryan Cleckner's videos! He presents the information efficiently and compactly. Unlike some Youtube videos that drag on forever! :O

For those within range* of the Ottawa area, the Dominion Rifle Association, which shoots at CFB Connaught, has access to their 900 metre range. From what I could make out, members show up with no more than a couple of high precision loads they've cooked up, shoot, and then check the results. It's a special world.
