Great instructional videos for the long range shooter!

I have watched pretty much all of LoneWolfUSMC's videos as well as the Road to Precision vids and the videos in the OP, all excellent btw. But I can honestly say that if you want to learn about long range shooting, Sniper 101 videos would be my first recommendation. I was skeptical at first especially seeing the word "sniper" in the title, but the amount of information your presented with is almost overwhelming.

Calibre selection, bullet selection, rifle selection (bolt and semi), harmonics (rigidity), scope selection (including MIL/MOA explanation), and trigger selection have all been covered in amazing detail so far, and i'm only on part 16 of 39. If you decide to watch make sure you pay very close attention because a lot of technical terms and info is discussed. It's basically physics class for gun enthusiasts.

they are really turning out to be the best set of videos i have ever seen on the subject. crammed full of info

You can actually find all the Magpul series online too. lots of good info, but sometimes its more "career marksmen" driven. Still, its nice watching higher quality videos from time to time.

They start off slow, as the basics are laid out, but once you get to the advanced ballistics it gets very interesting. The earlier vids are still good to watch though, unless you have a good understanding of physics, even then, lots of good little tidbits thrown in.

I found this guy's Youtube site {TiborasaurusRex}to be a step by step, very detailed & informative regarding all the essentials to Long Range Shooting. He actually focuses more on "Extreme Long Range Shots", but has all the basic useful info from beginners to serious long range shooters.

His long range Instructional video's are sequential starting at "Sniper 10 part 1" all the way up to "part 80".
He speaks in simple plain English without getting very technical & is very easy to understand. It's amazing how much he knows & what one can learn from him.

In addition to the long range shooting, he also has a whole bunch of other video topics related to firearms & what not.

I have posted below "Sniper 101 part 1" for CGNER's who may not have watched his videos & for members to decide for if it's worth watching.
I do wish that his site should become a sticky in the Long Range Forum.

I don't know how often I have gone back and looked at these posts over the years. But I am truly grateful for them. Thank you very much! Fred

I could not agree more! TiborasaurusRex is a brilliant channel and the Sniper 101 videos are unbelievable. I would genuinely pay for information this good. Do yourself a favour and check it out. Very impressive.

And a big shout out to NSSF channel too. This is where I started to learn about MOA and Milrads. Extremely well done and very helpful!!!

Helpfull videos for new guys !

Just some video's I often give to friends/new shooters. Who then in turn ignore them, get frustrated, sell their rifle and buy an AR and a pistol ! lol
