Did Browning ever make the BLR in anything other than 308?

I have several very nice Mossberg rifles....they are all rimfires made in the 30's and 40's however lol.

Even the ones made after the war are greatly under valued. Their best sporting competition models with their best aperture sights were quality rifles.

I don't know, I think you have your statement reversed....I had to put a Remington barrel on my Savage to get it to shoot.

Same here! I actually shy away from browning guns just because of their "advertising".

As I said earlier... "money." There is more money in peddling guns to WWW's (Wannabe Woods Warriors). And even more money in keeping those "ammo hogs" fed...

I would love a Ruger No.1-RSI in .45/70 and an M77 RSI in .358 Win... fat chance.

Actually the advertising goes something like this...."I have a rifle in the truck, so break in. You could also follow me home and break in there"

I know a fellow here that owns one in 257Roberts.

yeah,..I know they made the BLR in a few other chamberings but for every 257 Rob, 243, 7-08, 284, 358 or 22-250 I've seen, I've seen 20 or more 308's...
