How old are you?
Red dot sights and the like have been around since the 1980's....
IMO the most significant improvements in Black rifle utilization has been the proliferation of new cartridges. My favorite being the 300 Whisper which admittedly also predates the last decade but which had not been widely used previously.
What's the Greatest black rifle innovation in the last decade? It could be anything, from a new component or accessory to a major advancement in rifle design itself.

The Armson OEG Single Point sight, circa 1970.

We're you even born then?
I actually had one of the later model versions of that sight. I loved it on my AK. That was back in the day we could take ARs and AKs out in the bush.![]()
We're you even born then?
I would guess it is the ease of information shared.....The Internet and the access to YouTube ...QUOTE]
I'd agree with this. It's commented that in the 'olden days', moveable type made printed works accessible to the masses, and this information exchange fueled the renaissance, etc.
Guess much the same, and even more, could be said about the internet.
Usually people can't tell how old I am anyhow![]()
picatinny rail system without a doubt!!! all those fancy EOtech, Aimpoint, ACOG couldn't survive without it!!!!
