Griz-Mag Project

Quit playing with it and go shoot it!!!!!!!!!!

Will do ASAP. Still have to buy some slugs.

Mag is much faster than tub when it comes to reload. Don't know why Remington hasn't done that. Most other firearm maker learned that like 100 years ago :). Dominion Arms leads this whole-new mag-feed wave, miles ahead of NO1 gun maker! :runaway:

The finish is better than Rem Express and Mossberg I have seen.

Griz Mag even has bolt hold back function. Very nice.

looking at the laws I'm still pretty sure the 12" with the folder is restricted, not prohib.

you should be able to phone the CFC. tell them you have a 12" grizzly, and want to add a folder to make it restricted, and see what they say.

by changing the stock, you have adapted the firearm to be able to fire when the gun is folded. and the lengh is under 660mm. that is the definition of a restricted firearm.

I was thinking about that when the first batch of Griz come in early this year.

Then I realized the whole issue is beyond the CFC. Even law experts can't use the current law to solve the mess. Has to be a court ruling.

I started to fear the worst regarding my 11.5" barreled 10-22 (rimfire) that I had lost the registration certificate for so I called the CFC and asked to have my registration updated and re-issued. There was already an FRT# for a non-restricted 11.5" Ruger carbine in the system so it was no problem. It's worth a try on the shotgun - especially if you don't mind ending up with a restricted shotgun (caution: I don't know if it's possible to bring a firearm back from the restricted pile BTW).
