You have to keep in mind how much larger 12gauge shells are as opposed to 7.62..

Look at the AA-12 drum mags they look like a very similar design and aren't THAT huge, maybe the picture is just misleading.

The AA is semi auto. On a pump your forarm comes a fair ways back and will strike the side of the mag.

I think 10, maybe 12 is the most you will get with a center feed drum, unless you use a vertical front grip.

Ah right! I didn't even think of how much you'd be moving to rack a new round.. Good point.

How long till the 10 round magazines are available? I can't wait to get my hands on one (or more).

Any ballpark idea on when and the price for the 10 round?

Alright, so is this history repeating itself?

Ok, so I gotta ask, what ever happened to the 150rd .22 drum mag that Wrong Way named in the contest (2011)?
No explanation ever seemed to surface.
And is this going the same way for some reason?

Thanks,
Sir Veyor

:canadaFlag:so I have been quietly working on 10 round stick mags, 15 round double stack stick mags and 20 round drums,:sok2 I have had the steel for the stick mags cnc plasma cut and the steel for the drums cnc laser cut, I have been working on stamping dies for about 2 weeks, picked up some of the laser cut drum parts today and the forming dies are working very well, :shotgun:should have the first jigs and drum done tomorrow, the stick mag dies still need some fine tuning, more pics to follow.

The idea was there a long time ago and I extended three original mags for my Valtro PM5 to take 9, 10 and 11 rounds, respectively. Had to waste two mags that cost $100 each for that. Longer than 11 rounds, the mags become too cumbersome.

Would you be referring to these?

This is the final product, had issues with a manufacturer out east so I had to do things my self! As I have a full time job things take time, good to know you are thinking of me ;) shouldn't be long now, will update everyone once they are available. THANKS RKWPROBUILT!

I was on the fence about the grizzly for my next toy, so I am interested in seeing where this goes. As a lefty, I would prefer to see a centre feed or left handed offset in 15-20, or a double or single stack in 10-15.

RKWPROBUILT any idea on final prices for your designs?

Yes I was referring to those!

Well, as I said no explanation for two years and the pattern appeared to be repeating itself. Was more cautioning everyone about getting too excited as frequently happens on CGN. I liked where the product was going which is why I remembered (also Wrong Way seemed kinda pissed about he was suddenly shunned).

I'm still a fan of the idea and will be happy to be among your first buyers for at least a couple depending on how many adapter types ya get. And just as interested in the Grizzly products.

Late responding about what went sideways, but glad to finally hear something.

Hey RKW...you've PM'd me for my address 2-3 times now and told me it was finally on it's way....nothing has ever shown though. Is one coming? :)

I have had some unexpected issues, like my 2 year old son loosing his sight in one eye, a change in job and a move, the mags are not my number one priority right now. I never said it before for fear of being kicked off but I will now "the original drum mag post was deleted by the cgn admin for Advertising" not by me. Like it- Love it- or Leave it- That's Life. I hope that explains the gap.

Dude! Where you bin? do hope your kid is doing better. Have you had a chance to do any work on them there cool mag's of yours? Love to hear more about them. I am shore as are many others also would be. My self I am working on a side by side double pump shot gun. Have been collecting parts and pieces for a couple of weeks now. The hardest part so for has been the triggers( getting them to function in unisons). Interested in one of them mag's when they'll be ready.
