Love this thread..definilty put me down for 2 drums at 100 a peice..keep up the good work and hopefullu yhese will hit the market soon

The diameter of 10 rounds is about 4.25" . Anything bigger and I think you will start hitting it with your forarm when cycling the action. Unless you go to a pistol foregrip, or make it asymetric like a snail mag.

I like that size. Practical. I'd pay $100 for that.

I'm late to this party but has anyone tried to Rapid Prototype this out of some kind of durable plastic? I could provide the 3D model of my design free to anyone willing to try but I'm not sure if a Rapid prototyping company would be inclined to give it a chance even though it's 100% legal and would be marked for a pump action only. Does making a magazine require the gov't license to manufacture? what if it was a one-off for personal use?

I like where this thread is going as i've been messing with the idea for a while. I don't have the machine skills to do this but i have the design skills to come up with ideas and 3D models.

This would be a great addition to my grizzly so i hope someone works it out.

I have been waiting on my 3d printer for the last 2 weeks.
I have 2 versions drawn up right now:
The current stainless one (very expensive to produce)
A plastic one for injection molding.

GasCan, I hope to have a working stainless one to you shortly.

If you don't mind me asking, did you use a similar design to the promag saiga drum? I took cues from it and the way the cover is removed. The main difference is that mine is a more simplified version that would be best loaded one round at a time from the top. Similar to the standard mag. But without a working model it's hard to know if it will feed reliably. If you'd like I could Email you my model and you could give it a look. Just let me know.

20 round drum mag for my grizzly? I'd pay 100 for 'em and probably get a couple as well! Thank you for actually putting time into this. Like everyone else I love my DA but hate the 5 round mags that seem to be the only thing out there.

Damn I sluffed off magazine fed shotguns, but this has promise. Too bad Gas Can hasn't had more success, as Tim's design doesn't work for a lefty like me.
