Oh gotcha f:P:2:

It does not intrude or get hung up on gear, which you may or may not have.

Able to keep it closer to the body.

Does not interfere with the pump action.

Makes sense to me! Haha. The only thing I was wondering about is, 20 rounds hanging off the center of gravity...does it feel like its pulling to one side??

This is awesome but do you intend to make these for sale or just fooling around with this for yourself?? Awesome looking drum mag.

Drewz,
Thank you
It started out as a project just for fun. The only way I would sell them is if I can somehow kick something back to CGN (not sure how yet)

Dweano,
I personally did not notice it. It hangs to the outside, if anything a little weight added to the inside of your right hand, against the grip.

I meant like...why is the mag neck not in the center as opposed to off to one side? But the shell spacers makes sense to me!

Offset tower also has one less turn for the shells to deal with resulting in less drag.

I thought about it, but since I was sarificing an original mag, I couldn't think of an easy way to attach it to the body.(the material on the side of the body is quite thin due to the shell guides). In the end I probably could have just welded to it, which I had to do anyways.

I did consider a partial offset, having the tower come off about half way between the side and center. This would allow a larger capacity, keep the balance a little more centered, and reduce the final turn into the tower. BUT, I thought a center feed would look cooler in a street sweeper kinda way. :^)

I wish I marked the mags that failed on the spot and ran a 2nd drill.

Buy I only brought a box and a half of shells and had another new shotgun to test.... hopefully next time, but its not that often I get the range to myself

Funny I shoot there and always have the range to my self...
Only had other people there 2 times in last 15 or 20 visits

Well I was stress testing tha mag again.
Shooting went fine, the all of a sudden.
I pull the trigger, gun fires, bolt jams back.
Now every time I cycle it, it jams all the way back.
Gonna take it apart tomorrow

Any ideas?

I am only guessing but some people have had issues with the ejector spring bending or getting mangled and jamming things up.

Not sure if i understand what is going on but could the action bars be jumping off the bolt? That happened to me after I foolishly messed around with my forend.
