CanAm I'm sure you have answered this 1000 times already, but what are the odds of getting extended mags produced for these?
OH man I hope it does have the rail... I did not see it in the pic until Dweano mentioned it.
the Mesa tactical 870 rail wont fit on my receiver unless you drill and tap it![]()
This is why I invested in a Mesa Tactical High Tube stockcomes with a decent length rail on top of it.
Hoping itll fit without any modifications, its for the 870 afterall.
Will post pics once the shotgun arrives![]()
Hmm on the high tube stock from mesa, the rail attaches to the stock itself at the back and rests on the receiver using a "receiver saddle", so there are no screws that go into the actual receiver of the gun.
From the manual:
![]()
There's a notch on on the top of the saddle piece which pops into a hole on the rail that it comes with.
the rail is then secured with two screws at the rear on the stock adapter itself. so no screws are on attached to the receiver itself.
I'm probably going to leave the rail off until I pick up a red dot sight or something for it![]()
Is the ejector spring that's pinned into the side of the reciever replaceable? The one on my 12.5 mag fed broke![]()
Anyone know of a chest rig that will work with griz mags?
Got my grizzly mag today! Thanks CanAm! I put five rounds through it no problem, tough to eject after you shoot, really gotta reef back on the foreend to get them out. This was with cheap winchester tho (I am used to a Mossberg 590A1 that ate everything haha). After a couple hundred rounds of break in I am hoping it will be smooth like butter, taking it apart and greasing it up can't hurt either.
BTW guys...no rails on top. Fortunately my sights look pretty solid, indexing is close enough to perfect to fool me
I'll try to get some pics
I'll be doing the same, and will be looking locally for said bolt this week.
When I find one I'll post here for reference.
PS Canam this would be a great $1.99 type item!)))
