They don’t even move when you miss right over their head
Great year for grouse !!!

Yes lots up north! 4 to 5 at a time was our best. Came across a couple dozen standing on a logging road one morning.

Went for a ride on the quad on Sunday,saw 13 ruffies and 1 spruce.

At our camp near Sudbury we have seen fewer than normal this year. A little surprising since it was a good spring. I would have expected good brood survival.
