Grouse River Outfitters?

Sometimes the website leads you to believe they have stock on something when they don't, but they have great customer service.

They are currently updating their website to show actual stock as now it shows what they have setup in their system. Stopped in there a month or so ago, and WOW, everyone there was caring and helpful. Very impressed. Prices are a little high and stock was a little low but I am sure time will fix that

Yes I have bought from them and it was a positive experience. They had bases in stock that nobody else did.

Multiple purchases over several months, each experience better than the last. Free swag when something went mildly sideways but all came out fine soon after. Would recommend highly.

The store is well worth a visit.

They generally have quite high prices, but have some good sales from time to time. Early January they had a 2 for 1 shoe/boot sale. A few years ago they had a great Fathers Day sale (I bought a Sako A7 stainless with Burris 3-9 scope and Burris binos for under $1k). They also special ordered a S&W 15-22 for me at a very reasonable price a few years ago.

There customer service varies from quite good to exceptional. I was there at a quiet time one day and just bought a cheap set of scope rings, I happened to have the scope and rifle with me and the guy mounted and bore sighted the scope for free.

X2 on the website. I quit even looking at them as I hate thinking something is there when it's not. Hopefully the claims of a new website either live stock is true...

Bought an expensive scope from them. They initiated a phone call and kept me up to date/informed that there'd be a delay from customs. Customs never did approve their US exporter's permit, but they had also ordered the scope from Japan. Japan beat the US in supplying same scope. Grouse River called me ahead of time and let me know what was happening and that it's on the way. So things took longer for things to arrive from Japan, but at least they kept me in the loop.

When it arrived, Grouse River enclosed a self stamped/pre paid postage sticker so that if there were any problems within a set amount of weeks, I can send it back without cost to me. I have to say this was the first time ever (and I've been dealing with gun places for quite some time) that I've ever had a company pro-actively call me, AND send me a free postage voucher should a return be necessary.
