Gsg-16 with 9 inch barrel pics

Finally installed my barrel in my gsg-16. What a freaking nightmare haha. After around 3 hours of pissing around its all done. Put a pin through the inside of the stock to stop movement. Looks pretty good i must say. I have a flashlight forend and a better stock showing up tomorrow.

Yeah basically. You need to thread out the old barrel from the trunion, then you need to install and headspace the new one, mark where the extractor cut needs to go, remove the barrel and make the cut fir the extractor, then thread it back in with some locktite. Problem is, this barrel has a collar on it so i had to install the barrel through the cocking tube assembly and tighten it. Was a pain in the A$$
 
I’m thinking of sending my 9” Dlask Barrel to a local gunsmith to have them instal it. Truly does sound like a pain in the ass.

Which stock did you order?

Is this the flashlight forend you’re talking about?

Your GSG looks great with the short barrel! Now I’m jonesing ...

The stock i ordered is a CYMA sliding stock that im gonna epoxy the adjustment mechanism so it cant be adjusted. I ordered a G&P LED weaponlight forend. As much as id love a surefire i couldnt justify the cost
 
Oh man, I'd love to see pics of your rifle with the new stock and the G&P forend. I have a full CYMA stock for mine, and I debated between the G&P flashlight forend and the A4 style forend. I caved on the A4 style (stock pic below), but I'd love to see pics of the G&P to see what I missed out on.

so, i really wanted a GSG 16

then i saw it ODG and wanted that
and you need to add a red dot
then i kinda wanted one with the MP5 conversion kit,
then i really want a short barrel

and then i want that flashlight !

this is gonna be the most expensive cheap gun i ever buy.
 
Niice! I have an airsoft one, watch out as some are just {too} cheap & the cheap metal stock broke, I see people have put airsoft stocks/parts on them. I'm def. getting this for xmas. Does anyone know what the shortest barrel would be to keep it 26" & keep the stock adjustable? Prob. not much shorter then the 16'..?

My gun is exactly 27 inches with a 9 inch barrel
